In the main event Islan Makhachev is going to be fighting Alexander Volkanovski who is an Australian mixed martial artist that has a record of 25-1 and has defeated many great fighters before like Brian Ortega, Max Holloway, The Korean Zombie, Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes and others. Most of his victories were either won by decisions or by knockout. This fight should be really exciting since his opponent Islam also has a pretty good record of 23-1 and has also beaten some pretty great fighters in the history of the UFC like Charles do Bronx, Bobby Green, Dan Hooker and many more too.

People are talking about this fight a lot and the opinions have been pretty split for this fight since there are so many different opinions.A lot of people think that Islam might be taking the win home and some think that Volkanovski might win by a submission or decision. The point that most people that are going for Islam to win is that he is a lot bigger than Volkanovski and they think that Makhachev is going to surprise everyone again with a victory he was not supposed to have. And others on the other hand think that the champion is going to be keeping his title.

And about the fight of Paulo Costa vs. Whittaker in his most recent interview with Ariel Helwani Paulo Costa said he was no longer willing to fight on his contracted 70/70 fight contract and that due to a ‘sunset clause’ his contract will expire in March allowing him to become a free agent, possibly signing with One Championship, PFL, or Bellator MMA. Costa went on to accuse the UFC of paying Brazilian fighters less simply because they are from Brazil where the cost of living is supposedly cheaper.
