Boxing is like that, one minute you are the greatest heavyweight in the world and the next you are a contender. Anthony Joshua who was world Heavyweight Champion seemed to be making his return back to contender after a dazzling display this summer against Francis Ngannou in a mega fight cross over between UFC and Boxing, however Daneil Dubois ended all of that talk with a 5th round KO.
Dubois who held on to his IBF heavyweight world championship landed a right that was well placed on the chin of a surging Joshua. The right was the 4th time Dubois dropped Joshua before the KO finish which took place in front of a sold out stadium show of over 91,000 fans in Joshua’s home of Wembley Stadium in London.
Dubois is now set to face the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk Vs Tyson Fury fight taking place Dec. 21st. Cyborg who is currently 2-0 in professional boxing will be returning to the cage Oct. 19th in Saudi Arabia for the Riyadh Season edition of PFL Professional Fighters League which will also feature Francis Ngannou Vs Renan Ferreira as the Co main event.
