Kamaru Usman Vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio set for #UFCHILE

As news was broke by Ariel Helwani earlier today, UFC Chile will have a main event of Kamaru Usman Vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio. The bout has not been finalized but Ariel is reporting that the signatures are imminent. The fight would take place May 19th.

Ponzinibbio is 26-3 as a pro and is from Argentina now residing in Florida.  Santiago has won 6 fights in a row including an impressive performance against Mike Perry last December.  Fighting out of ATT Ponzinibbio will have to prepare for a grappler in Kamaru Usman.

Usman has won 11 in a row and is a perfect 7-0 inside the UFC.  His last win was a dominate performance against Scandinavian Emil Meek in January, and he has been calling for a large platform.  The Co Main event will feature Chute Boxe legend Mauricio Shogun Rua looking for his 4th win in a row against Volkan Oezdemir who fought for the UFC Lightheavyweight belt against Daniel Cormier at UFC 221.
