If rumors of Jose Aldo Vs Mario Bautista are true then it means the long time WEC/UFC Legend has ended his free agency and re-signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. According to Damon Martin Aldo is expected to compete Oct. 5th at UFC 307 against Mario Bautista.
Aldo had been retired from MMA fighting for almost 2 years before returning to defeat Jonathan Martinez by decision at UFC 301. Bautista has won 6 consecutive fights including a decision victory over Ricky Simon during his last outing at UFC Vegas 84
Aldo reported after his last UFC victory that he still had hopes of one more UFC Championship run. With a recent re-signing to the organization it appears as though he is going to haev another opportunity. UFC 307 is also expected to have a matchup between Kayla Harrison and Ketlen Vieira as well as Aljamain Sterling vs Movsar Evloev.
