
Former Rizin FF and Bellator MMA Champion Kyoji Horiguchi will welcome former UFC Champion title contender Ray Borg to the Bellator MMA Cage. Horiguchi has a record of 31-5 and will face Ray Borg who is 16-5 in his professional career.
The fight is scheduled to take place April 22nd in Honolulu Hawaii. Horguchi is 2-2 in his past 4 bouts with losses to Sergio Bettis and Patchy Mix to go with a submission win over Yuto Hokamura and a decision over fellow Japanese fighter Hiromasa Ougikubo in a return to 125lbs.
Leaving the UFC in 2020 Ray Bor has won 3 consecutive fights with victories over Jesse Arnett, Cody Gibson, and Ricky Bandejas. Signing a multifight contract with Bellator MMA, Ray Borg will compete in the flyweight 125lbs category for the first time since he missed weight against Rogerio Bontorin in February of 2020 with the UFC, a fight he missed by 2 pounds.
