Eduardo Chapolin steps up on short notice for DWCS week 4

LFA Champion Eduardo Chapolin was the number one pick for Daniel Cormier on the TUF 33 season however after arriving heavy into the house he had a difficult weight cut which led to him losing his first fight to the eventual winner of the season. Following an impressive return to the LFA cage to defend his Flyweight Championship two weeks ago, Eduardo Chapolin will not accept a short notice fight to participate in Dana White’s Contender Series.

Facing the 7-1 Chinese fighter An Tuan the Brazilian Eduardo Chapolin will; step in for the injured Frank Silva and take the fight on the week 4 edition of the Dana White contender Series.  With 7 knockouts on his resume and 4 submissions going along with only 3 decisions Eduardo Chapolin is considered a flyweight version of a young Shogun Rua with an aggressive style of Muay Thai mixed with solid takedown defense and aggressive submission attempts.

Wins over Devon Lozej, Igor Siqueira, Cody Davis and Leandro Soares have moved Eduardo Henrique Da Silva into the top 85 in the world at the flyweight division.   Fans can expect a fast pace aggressive striker when Chapoline steps into the cage as the São Paulo Brazilian fighter looks to make his mark on the flyweight division starting with a DWCS win over An Tuan before earning a contract in the UFC joining the other LFA veterans inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Eduardo Chapolin is a teammate of Lerryan Douglas and the Bloodlines Combat Sports agency. Chapolin has spent time training in the Cris Cyborg training facility and is excpecte to compete in the UFC with a strong DWCS performance.
