The annual Cris Cyborg Pink Belt Fitness women’s empowerment retreat took place this past weekend in Las Vegas and it was a huge success. Women from all over the USA, Canada, and Mexico traveled to Las Vegas to attend the event.
Participants joined Cris Cyborg starting at 9am and enjoyed a full day of planned activities and games as they had an opportunity to train with Boxing Hall of Famer, former Olympic Silver Medalist and WBC World Champion Wayne McCulloch. 13x UFC Veteran and BJJ Black Belt Marion Reneau led the group through a submission grappling session while 18x MMA World Champion Cris Cyborg taught a UFC class for all participants.
The girls enjoyed an overnight slumber party before a hair braiding class and a nature adventure hike in the Las Vegas desert. The event which saw over 20 women earn Pink Belt Fitness Certificates was an incredible success. Cyborg who competes for the WIBA World Championship in Boxing March 28th had this to say about the event, “I love anytime women have a chance to comet together and empower one another through sisterhood, events like this leave me charged and ready to take on the world.”
Cyborg who has hosted these events annually has not announced the dates for the next pink belt fitness, however if you are interested register for the criscyborg.com mailing list to ensure you receive all the details ahead of the next event.
