Cris Cyborg just continues to evolve and get better even with age, as the 19 year combat sport veteran kept her unbeaten boxing record alive with a 2nd round KO over the previously undefeated Aria Wild as the Co Main event of Crypto Fight Nights’s first trip to the UK and the Combat legends first fight in London.
Cyborg who controlled the first round utilizing a stiff jab focused on precession and timing before breaking her opponent down in the 2nd round with a series of bodyshots that lead to the overhand right and the ultimate stoppage of the bout. Aria Wild while overmatched, showed she was a game opponent and has potential.
Following the victory Cyborg now 4-0 with 2 KO’s in Boxing called for a matchup against Larissa Pacheco the PFL Women’s Featherweight and Lightweight tournament champion who previously defeated Kayla Harrison. Cyborg who is the current Bellator MMA Champion and former UFC, Invicta FC, and Strikeforce champion would be looking to add a PFL superfight championship to the resume as well with the victory.
