The Professional Fighters League heads to Austin Texas with a HUGE headliner as Top rated Johnny Eblen looks to rematch Costello Van Steenis as the main event for the PFL Middleweight World Championship. Costello Van Steenis defeated Johnny Eblen in the final 10 seconds of a 25 minute fight in which Eblen was ahead on the scorecards by securing a RNC submission last July 2025.
Eblen moved on from that loss with a PFL Pittsburg victory over UFC Veteran Bryan Battle with a first round RNC submission victory of his own to improve to 16-1 as a pro with his only defeat coming to Costello Van Steenis.
Van Steenis is 18-3 in MMA as a pro and has won 4 consecutive fights following his decision loss to former Bellator MMA champion Douglas Lima back in 2023 a decision loss to John Salter in 2019 and a a decision to veteran Jake Bostwick in 2015. Seasoned as a veteran Van Steenis defeated Fabian Edwards in his last performance inside the PFL MMA Cage with a devastating TKO finish via elbows.
Cris Cyborg fought alongside Johnny Eblan when he faced Fabian Edwards at the PFL Super Fights event in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
