Claressa Shields set to return to Heavyweight against Lani Daniels July 26th in Detroit Michigan

Claressa Shields has talked about going back to 154 pounds to give the fans some competitive matchups against female talent with a bit of fan recognition, however Actions speak louder and than words and the self proclaimed “Greatest Woman of All Time” will continue fighting at Heavyweight instead.  With very little talent in the Heavyweight division, Claressa Shields was forced to ask light heavyweight champion Lani Daniels to move up in weight to challenge for Claressa Shields Heavyweight belts which where all vacant at the time of her claiming them.

Rather than fight for Lani Daniels LHW world title, and continue her weight drop to 154 pounds, Claressa is going to give the fans another Heavyweight fight in the Detroit area.  Facing a 36 year old Lani Daniels, Claressa is giving fans another fight against a relative unknown as Lani Daniels.  Claressa who initially called for super fight mega crossover between herself and Cris Cyborg has now gone quiet with rumors of her inability to make 154lbs being the reason why.

Cyborg who is currently 4-0 as a professional in Boxing has 3 KO’s which is the same amount as Claressa Shields has while competing as a professional boxer despite having 12 more professional boxing fights than Cris Cyborg.
