The date of the finale will coincide with UFC International Fight Week in Las Vegas, which will conclude with the UFC 226 PPV. The Ultimate Fighter Finale will air on FS1 with the prelims being shown on UFC Fight Pass. Adesanya is currently 13-0 in his professional career including 2-0 in the UFC.
Tavares is on a 4 fight win streak and includes his third straight TKO victory with his win over Kryzysztof Jotko at UFC on Fox 29. Overall Tavares has a 11-4 professional record and has been signed with the UFC promotion for over 7 years.
