Artem Lobov returns to MMA for grunge match against Zubaira Tukhogov at PFL Dubai

It appears that the rumored “Road to Dubai” PFL card taking place in October just got a big fight for the region as one of MMA’s oldest rivalries looks to be sparked again as Artem Lobov will be making his return against Zubaira Tukhogov.  Multiple people have reported that the fight is confirmed and Lobov himself has gone to social media to share the upcoming matchup.

“7 years in the making” wrote Lobov on X, before going ton to say “time to get revenge!”  The two fighters are infamously linked together as part of the chaos fallout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.  Lobov who was a teammate of Conor McGregor was filmed in a hotel confrontation with members of team khabib which included Tukhogov.  Following the confrontation McGregor flew to New York where the infamous shipping dolly was thrown through a bus window causing damages not only to the bus but multiple people on it.

Lobov was involved in the incident which then pulled him from his fight that weekend.  The UFC eventually booked Lobov against Tukhogov but following UFC 229 post fight melee where Khabib jumped over the cage in an attempt to go after Conor Mcgregor’s team the match was scrapped and never re scheduled.

now neither Lobov or Tukhogovb are on the UFC roster however they still have a score to settle and will use the PFL MMA cage as the battleground.  This fight while not officially announced by the PFL MMA team is expected to be on the October PFL MMA event in Dubai which is rumored to also have Usman Nurmagomedov Vs Paul Hughes 2 on the event.
