Yadong Song secured Guillotine Choke win over Deiveson Figueiredo

UFC made their return to China, this time with a visit to the Las Vegas of Asia, Macau China.  The event which was headlined by Yadong Song against former flyweight champion Deivseon Figueiredo. Song put the pressure on from the opening start of the fight and in the second round with only 8 seconds left he scored a guillotine choke submission over the former Brazilian UFC Champion.

In the Co Main event Alonzo Menifield picked up an upset win over Mingyang Zhang with a left hook just 45 seconds into the opening round.  Zhang had previously lost to Johnny Walker at UFC Shanghai after starting his UFC career 3-0 with wins over Brendson Ribeiro, Ozzy Diaz, and Anthony Smith.  Big win for Sergei Pavlovich who looked dominant in the striking as he used an overhand right to land the KO punch against Tallison Teixeira.

Kai Asakura got back to his winning way with a 1st round KO over Cameron Smotherman as the Rizin FF fighter reminded everyone why they were so excited to see him join the UFC. Jake Matthews scored a decision over Carlston Harris, while Alex Perez and Sumudaerji ended in a No Contest due to an accidental groin strike.

Luis Felipe Dias used a right punch to drop Yi San Lee before following it up with strikes as Meng Ding lost a split decision to Brazilian MMA fighter Jose Souza. Cody Haddon Red Tsuruya, Rodrigo Vera, and Jacqueline Amorim all scored wins while One Championship former Champion Jingnan Xiong suffered a loss to Angela Hill via Decision in her promotional debut.
