Netflix and chill might take on an entirely new meaning this winter if fans get a matchup of influencer turned boxer Jake Paul against former world chmampion Anthony Joshua. Jake Paul who was scheduled to fight Gervonta Davis had to cancel that fight following legal troubles on the part of Davis.
Rumors started this week by Ring Magazine that Jake Paul is in advanced negotiations to fight Anthony Joshua in a Boxing fight that would take place in Miami sometime in December. Paul initially tried to bait Francis Ngannou into a fight who infamously was knockout by Anthony Joshua after his split decision loss to Tyson Fury. Jake Paul has floated ideas of Nate Diaz, and a few other opponents however Anthony Joshua would be a new level of opponent for the young boxer with a split decision loss to Tommy Fury.
Joshua has suffered a KO loss to Daniel Dubois this past September, however is a former heavyweight champion who alongside Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is considered the best of his era. Do you think Jake Paul is really going to fight Anthony Joshua or do you see him using this as a negotiation strategy with another opponent?
