
Holly Holm is one of the biggest names in combat sports, not only for women but men. Her upset victory over an undefeated Ronda Rousey inside a stadium in Australia went down as one of the biggest upsets in the history of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
A 21 time World Boxing Champion, Holly Holm is also inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame as one of the top female Boxers of all time. While Holm recently turned 43, she was last booked on the high profile UFC 300 fight card against US Olympian Kayla Harrison.
While the performance was not a victory, Holm showed she is still a fan favorite despite the loss. With 2 fights remaining on her UFC contract, news recently broke that Holly Holm asked for, and was granted her unconditional release from the UFC, this following UFC president Dana White’s comments about her retiring following her most recent UFC 300 loss to Judo Kayla.
