Dern vs. Rodriguez fight news

This weekend on Saturday, October 9, 2021, the Ultimate Fighting Championship or most known as the UFC is going to have some great fights in the card on UFC Fight Night 194, Phil Hawes vs.  Deron Winn, Sabina Mazo vs. Mariya Agapova, Tim Elliot vs. Matheus Nicolau, Randy Brown vs. Jared Gooden and lastly the main event which is the fight of Mackenzie Dern who is looking to submit Marina Rodriguez as the two Brazilians fight on Saturday night. The odds are for Dern are -160 and for Rodriguez, they are +130. They are both Brazilian fighters, they both have very different fighting styles Dern being a grappler and, Rodriguez is more of a stand-up fighter with her Muay Thai. Mackenzie Lynne Dern Santos is an American Brazilian  professional MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. She is a former world No. 1 ranked IBJJF competitor, she is currently ranked 6th among the female divisions. She is an ADCC and no gi BJJ World Champion. She has the record of 11-1 and has fought many big names before like Amanda Ribas, Randa Markos, Nina Nunes and many more and now is going to be facing one of her toughest opponents AMarina Rodriguez, who has the record of 14-1.  Marina Rodriguez is a Brazilian MMA fighter. She is currently fighting  in the Strawweight division in the UFC. As of August 9, 2021, she is #6 UFC women’s strawweight rankings. She has also fought many strong and tough opponents before like Jessica Aguilar, Tecia Torres, Carla Esparza, Amanda Ribas, Michelle Watson and now Mackenzie Dern who is going to be a tough opponent due to to her grappling and floor work.

Some of the people that have made a comment about the upcoming fight of these two have had very different opinions on the fight. Some say that Mackenzie will win by a submission and and some think that Marina Rodriguez is going to win by a knockout, both things are possible to happen so make sure that you stay tuned on the fights to know what is actually going to happen.
