It seems the feud of words between Francis Ngannou and Dana White have not completely stopped as the promoter took time to answer a questions from the media following Dana White’s Contender Series 74. “I know all the shit that you people don’t know, and I don’t care what everybody says,” White told MMA Junkie reporters before going on to say, “It doesn’t matter to me, but that’s a fact. He was offered more money because I know the real numbers.
Dana White did not go on release any numbers, however it was heavily rumored that the UFC took a large percentage of the fight purse Conor McGregor generated against Floyd Mayweather essentially ‘capping’ his boxing purse. Speaking to Kevin Iole, White had this to say “That’s not necessarily true”, “That’s bullshyt total bullshyt. that’s that whole myth that makes everybody go, “oh let’s f’ing go to boxing, and all this bullshyt.”
Francis Ngannou will return to the cage Oct. 19th as the Co Main event of Brace for Impact, PFL Super Fight PPV Battle of Giants event taking place in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Cris Cyborg will fight 2x PFL Tournament champion Larissa Pacheco who is the betting favorite in her fight against Cris Cyborg. A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Pacheco has won 10 MMA fights in a row with 7 of them coming by first round KO. Pacheco is the only women to defeat Kayla Harrison.
