Cris Cyborg uses masterclass performance to win 30th professional MMA fight

Cris Cyborg, continues to look better even with age.  While Cris Cyborg had a previous stretch of her career where she won 20 consecutive fights during a period that lasted from Nov 2005-Dec 2018, over 13 years without a defeat–Many fans remember the spectacular finish that saw her lose in a firefight to Amanda Nunes.  With the UFC unable to secure the rematch, Cyborg finished her UFC contract with a victory over Felicia Spencer before eventually becoming Bellator MMA and eventually PFL MMA Champion.

Cyborg has now won 10 consecutive MMA fights in her career with victories over notable fighters; Ketlen Vieira, Larissa Pacheco, Cat Zingano and more.  Facing a younger Ketlen Vieira, who missed weight by an atrocious 7 pounds, Cyborg put on a masterclass of range management, distance control, and damaging impact to win a 5 round decision over her opponent who was 7 years younger than Cris Cyborg.

Winning 4-1 on the consensus judges score cards, each fighter secured 2 takedowns a piece, however it was Cyborg who used top position to land the more impactful strikes.  While moving on her backfoot for most of the fight, Cyborg used lateral movement and kicks to cause a problem for the stationary Ketlen Vieira.  Attacking the body with an effective jab while fighting the lead hand, Cyborg fought in bursts against the much larger opponent fight night showcasing her improved fight IQ.

With the victory Cris Cyborg called for a bout with Claressa Shields or a possible super fight against Kayla Harrison. Kayla who lost to Larissa Pacheco before leaving the PFL MMA has won 3 fights in the UFC including a championship fight against Juliana Pena who had captured the belt with a victory over Raquel Pennington.  Cyborg who is currently a Free Agent will enter into an exclusive 30 day negotiation period with MVP MMA and PFL before she has a window where she is able to negotiate with other promoters.

Undefeated in professional Boxing, Cris Cyborg is 8-0 with 6KO’s and the current WIBA World Champion. Most Valuable Promotions has an MMA and Boxing program for Women Athletes and so there is a logical fit if the two are able to reach terms on a new agreement which would most likely become the final fight contract of Cris Cyborg’s historic career.
