
Cris Cyborg the winningest female mixed martial arts fighter of all time with Championship belts in 5 MMA promotions and with 17 World Championship victories is returning to the sport of Professional Boxing with an International superfight in Santa Marta Colombia. Cyborg who is currently 2-0 as a professional in Boxing and 2-0 in Exhibition Boxing bouts will be facing Colombia’s #1 ranked Super Middleweight Karen Fernandez.
Cyborg who defeated Kelsey Wickstrum by 1st round KO Jan 19th of 2024 will be looking to re-enter the world rankings after being removed for more than 1 year of inactivity in professional boxing. While Cyborg faced Aria Wild at CFN in London after the Wickstrum fight, securing a 2nd round TKO victory the bout was officially ruled an Exhibition.
Cyborg captured the PFL MMA Championship belt this past October with her return to MMA when she won a 5 round decision over Larissa Pacheco an opponent who was the betting favorite heading into the bout having won 10 consecutive fights with 8 of them being by way of KO/TKO prior to facing Cyborg.
With a return to professional boxing March 3rd in Santa Marta Colombia, Cyborg will again be looking to continue establishing herself as a two sport superstar. With international fights in Brazil and the UK already on her resume, Cyborg will look to add another international win while in Colombia.
