Cris Cyborg pays respect to Bruce Lee before next Boxing Fight

Cris Cyborg spent the majority of her training camp in Seattle ahead of her fight Saturday night against Army Veteran, World MMA ranked top 10 feathereweight Gabby Holloway as she prepared for the fight at the Benavidez Sports facilitiy in Buriem Washington under the tutelage of Jose Benavidez Sr and his team.

Jose Benavidez Sr. is the father of two World Champion Boxers including his son Jose Jr. and current Boxing standout David Benavidez who is scheduled to face Caleb Plant and the winner earning a shot at Canelo Alvarez sometime this summer.

Cyborg who visited the funeral and final resting site of both Bruce Lee and his son Brandon, which is located just outside of Seattle Washington had this to say about the experience, “It was emotional getting to pay my respects to such a great martial artist like Bruce Lee and his son Brandon. I think it was the perfect way to finish my training camp and I feel inspired heading into my fight in Nebraska agaisnt a tough opponent in Gabby Holloway.”
