Cyborg is is currently 7-0 while competing as a Boxer will be looking to win her first professional boxing world championship when she faces Colombian Paulina Cardona as the main event of NCF 15.
An 18x MMA World Champion and the current PFL MMA featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg has an opportunity to make history with a win as the only fighter in combat sports history to hold a major world title in professional MMA and Boxing at the same time.
A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, cyborg has 2 IBJJF World Championships in the kimono on her resume, and once competed for the Lion Fight professional Muay Thai belt. With MMA World Championships on her resume from all 5 major promotions including Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC, Bellator and PFL Cris Cyborg is a legend in combat sports. If Cris Cyborg is able to capture the WIBA world championship she will join other Women’s Boxing legends such as Laila Ali, Anne Wolfe, Holly Holm, and Amanda Serrano as champions who have won the WIBA world title.
With this being Cris Cyborg’s final year of the “legacy tour” fans only have a few opportunities to watch this combat sports legend fight before she finally retires forever. A veteran of over 21 years in Combat Sports, Cris Cyborg has helped pioneer a path for women that didn’t exist before.
