ESPN’S MMA reporter Brett Okamoto just reported that through multiple sources the fight between Michael Chiesa and Anthony Pettis has been canceled as a direct result of the mayhem caused by Conor McGregor in Brooklyn today. The initial assault happened following the UFC 223 Media obligations.

Gaining entrance to the back loading area, Conor McGregor and his team preceded to attack the bus carrying Khabib and his manager, throwing objects into the windows, shattering glass. According to a statement given to Okamoto by the famed Jon Wood MMA coach out of Las Vegas Michael Chiesa is being treated for lots of little cuts.
There has been no immediate word on what the UFC will do in regards to compensation for the two fighters who are now being forced off of the fight card. Chiesa and Pettis both completed full training camps and the injury was a result of an assault done by a fellow person contracted by the company and was done because of a lack of security measures in place to ensure this type of corporate violence doesn’t occur on site. Hopefully they will both receive their show and win bonus.
Per sources, Chiesa/Pettis and Borg/Moreno are both off. Chiesa’s facial cuts, and his weight cut was thrown off. Borg started to experience problems with his eye, from the particles of glass.
