Claressa Shields remains undefeated, that is the story. The level of competition and the opponent left a lot to be desired last Sunday as Claressa brought in a professional with only 5 pro bouts into her home city of Flint Michigan. Despite the novice professional being much larger than Claressa Shields she did not seem to have much inside the ring to offer the self proclaimed “THE GWOAT”
With the win Shields moved to 16-0 however she currently only has 3 KO’s on her resume. a 2x Olympic Gold Medalist and a 3 division, 4x undisputed world champion Claressa Shields was able to knock Perkins down in the 3rd and 10th rounds however she was unable to score a KO finish.
Shields called for a rematch against a girl she has already beaten in Hanna Gabriels before mentioning the possibility of a fight with Cris Cyborg. Cris Cyborg and Claressa Shields have gone back and forth about a possible MMA or Boxing fight opportunity, with it seeming most logical that they two mega stars would fight 1 and 1 against each other in their respective sports. Do you think we see a Cris Cyborg X Claressa Shieilds MMA and Boxing fight series one day?
