She has fought many girls in her UFC career like Sara McMann, Cat Zingano, Irene Aldana, Sijara Eubanks, and also Yana Kunistskaya.
Her opponent Miesha Tate is also well known in the MMA world for her long career time. She now has a record of 19-8 and she is from Tacoma, Washington, United States. She has fought many well-known fighters like Holly Holm, Amanda Nunes, Raquel Pennington, and Liz Carmouche. She is 35 years old and is a former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion and now fights in the UFC, where she is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship Women’s Bantamweight Champion and now ranked #8 in the division after her loss to Vieira.
On the same night, many other fighters won like Sean Brady who took the win against Michael Chiesa, Joanne Calderwood took the L home against the Brazilian Taila Santos, Rani Yahya took the victory home against Kang Kyung-ho and Adrian Yanez also won against Davey Grant. The other fight that was well talked about was the fight of Taila Santos vs. Joanne Calderwood which was won by Santos by a submission with less than 20 seconds left for the end of the first round. Joanne Calderwood is a Scottish professional MMA fighter and former Muay Thai champion who is currently fighting in the Women’s Flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As of November 23, 2021, she is #6 in the UFC women’s flyweight rankings. She has a record of 15-7 and her opponent Taila Santos is a Brazilian MMA fighter who is also in the UFC. As of November 23, 2021, she is #5 in the UFC women’s flyweight rankings.
