Ryan Garcia seemed to become the face of boxing with his recent win over Devin Haney. Even though the prodigy boxer and social media sensation missed weight by 3 pounds, his performance against Haney was so spectacular as he dropped the previously undefeated fighter during several rounds that fans have seemingly disregarded the missed weight.
News has now come out that Ryan Garcia has tested positive for Performance Enhancing substance known as Ostarine which is a peptide banned by the VADA program in which both Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia enrolled prior to their fights. The urine samples were collected prior to the fight however results just recently became available.
Garcia has claimed his innocence and has posted photos of supplements online which he thinks could possibly be contaminated. Garcia who was eccentric to say the least during the build up of the bout has even suggested that he is being attacked for his support of former president Trump.
This story is still developing, and there will be more updates as it continues to evolve. Ryan Garcia will have all the details and an opportunity to explain the adverse findings, until then innocence is assumed.
