Mike Tyson returns to the ring Vs Jake Paul Friday in Texas

Despite the fact that Mike Tyson is 58 years of age, he is set to make yet another return to the Boxing ring this Friday when he faces social media bad boy Jake Paul as the main event of Tyson X Paul on Netflixs.  While Jake Paul is 27 years old and 10-1 as a professional in Boxing most f his fights have come against lesser talent including boxing matches against MMA stars like Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Ben Askren.

Losing to Tommy Fury last Feb, in Saudi Arabia Paul has rebounded with 4 wins against ‘professional boxers’ Andre August and Ryan Bourland with a fight with MMA fighter Mike Perry mixed in. Tyson who will be competing in his 59th professional fight has not competed professionally since June of 2005 when he lost in round 6 to Kevin McBride.

Despite nearly 20 years since his last professional fight, Jake Paul and team was able to get Texas to sanction the fight as a professional bout by limiting the fight to 8 rounds of 2 minutes with both fighters wearing 14oz gloves instead of the traditional 10 oz and 12 round boxing fight usually associated with such a fight.

The Co Main event will feature Katie Taylor against Amanda Serrano in a rematch that Katie Taylor won the first time they faced one another. Shadasia Green will fihgt Melinda Watpool for the vacant WBO Super Midle weight world championship with Lucas Bahdi fighting Armando Casamonica in a battle of unbeatens with Abel Ramos X Mario Barrios and Bruce Carrington X Dana Coolwell also scheduled.   Brazilian Whindeersson Nunes will face former boxing chamion Neeraj Goyat of India in a showcase bou as well.
