Jake Paul X Gervonta Davis Boxing match set

Jake Paul is set to return to the boxing ring for yet another fight against an opponent he has a considerable advantage over.  While it was Age against Mike Tyson, this fight it is going to be size.  Gervonta Davis who usually competes in the 140lbs division will be moving up to fight Jake Paul in the under 195lbs weigh in. This is a difference of over 50 pounds from his regular fight weight.  Jake Paul was a heavyweight when he fought a 59 year old Mike Tyson.

12 oz gloves will be worn on fight night with the fight being scheduled for 10 rounds of 3 minutes.  Gervonta Davis usually wears 8oz gloves while Jake Paul topically wears 10 oz glove accept the recent fight against Mike Tyson where they competed in 14oz gloves.   The fight will officially go to score cards to declare a winner of this ‘exhibition’ match.

Davis who is 30-0 as a professional is the WBA champion at 135lbs while Jake Paul weighed in at 199.5 for his last fight against Mike Tyson.  The bout will be held at a maximum of 195lbs.    Davis who has 28 KO’s is the much more skilled fighter although Jake Paul at 12-1 has 7KO’s on his record including big wins over Ben Askern, and Tyron Woodley. The fight will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami Florida on November 14th.  The bout had originally been set to take place in Georgia however the athletic commission refused to sanction the bout in Atlanta where Gervonta Davis is a large draw.  Most Valuable Preomotions MVP will promote this event in conjunction with Netflix.
