Devin Haney seems to finally be hitting his prime as his performance against Regis Prograis was a perfect shutout as the champ earned his first belt at 140lbs after stepping up in weight. All three judges scored the fight 120-107 giving Haney the WBC Junior Welterweight title which was owned by Regis Prograis.
Haney became undisputed lightweight champion last year before vacating those four belts late in November. Now 31-0 with 15Ko’s Haney is still only 25 years of age and is showing his ring control by displaying one of the best jabs in all of professional boxing.
Prograis had no answer for Devin Haney who put together a great performance using footwork, the jab, and landing several powerful shots after drawing Prograis into the combat zone. Devin Haney builds upon his win over Vasiliy Lomachenko with another great performance.
Cyborg will be returning to the boxing ring herself Jan. 19th in Temecula California as the main event of WFC 163 when she faces the undefeated Kelsey Wickstrum who is currently ranked #3 in the sport of professional boxing in the USA. Tickets to watch the 16x MMA Champion Cris Cyborg at the Pechanga Resorts Casino are currently on sale here.
