Cris Cyborg made history in Lyon France when she defeated 10x Australian National Judo team member and undefeated MMA prospect Sara Collins by 3rd round RNC. A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Cobrinha Cris Cyborg scored only her 2nd career submission with the victory despite being a 2x IBJJF World Champion in the kimono.
With the victory over the world #3 ranked Sara Collins, Cris Cyborg made history as the first fighter in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts with 18 world title victories more than any other fighter male or female in the history of MMA. With an 18-1 career record in World Championship fights Cris Cyborg is the only 5 promotional champion in the history of MMA which includes Strikeforce, Invicta FC, UFC, Bellator MMA, and PFL MMA in a career that has spanned more than 20 years in combat sports.
Taking fans back stage in Lyon France, Cris Cyborg’s fight night digital series is the longest consecutive running fighter Vblog series in the sport. Originally starting with the 2016 self title documentary which followed her attempts to make 140lbs at UFC 198 the series has continued with fight week releases bringing fans closer to the action and behind the scenes like only Cyborg Nation can.
Currently undefeated as a professional boxer Cris Cyborg is ranked 5th in the world at the 154lbs weight class and is looking for an opportunity to join Holly Holm as the only other fighter in combat sports history to win a world championship in both Boxing and MMA.
