Fans have been witnessing a surge of Cross Over Superfights in recent years from Conor McGregor fighting Floyd Mayweather to Francis Ngannou facing Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.  While all of these fights have crossed over and taken place inside of a boxing ring, with the acceptation of James Toney (way past his prime) facing Rand Couture fans have never seen the cross over into the cage.

While Cris Cyborg has teased a mega fight with Claressa Shields, ”GWOAT” has drawn a hard line on her unwillingness to fight Cyborg at 147lbs in a Boxing bout.  Cyborg has offered an ‘open weight’ mma fight against Shields who competed at 165lbs in her last MMA appearance against Kelsey De Santi however Shields has balked at the idea of facing Cyborg under MMA rules.

Chantelle Cameron who is 1-1 against Katie Taylor has now said that she would be willing to cross over to the PFL and fight Cris Cyborg if there was a good offer on the table according the THE MIRROR. Cameron who won a bout and lost a bout against Katie Taylor said she is “interested if the right offer was on the table, 100 percent.” noting that she was a kick boxing and Thai boxing World Champion before focusing only on her Boxing talents, going on to tell the reporter that she recently attended an hour grappling training session.

Cyborg who returns to Boxing April 27th as the Main Event of Green Bay Fight Night in Wisconsin, has been desperately trying to get a fight booked with PFL or BELLATOR MMA, however no fight date for her return to Mixed Martial Arts MMA fighting has been announced.  Cyborg who last fought at Bellator 300 has been out of MMA action since Oct. 2023 despite being healthy and willing to compete.  The have been rumors about a possible December showdown between Cyborg and Katie Taylor in Las Vegas, however would fans prefer to see Cyborg welcome a world champion like Chantlelle Cameron to the sport of Mixed Marital Arts?
